Slot canyon 2 at Cathedral Gorge
Vertical walls of eroded mud somehow look appealing in the right light. That's sort of how many things in life work out. This is a tough place to make a photograph. It requires careful metering calculations and patient adjustments of the camera bellows. And a little patience until direct sun from the slit 30 feet above, shines straight down on the floor of the slot and bounces warm, reflected light on the scene. We can do the same by radiating the illuminating light of our Creator in a helpful way on our fellow humans and surroundings.
