The Molar. Big Rocks wilderness, Nevada
Classic Nevada basin and range geology makes for images that evoke freedom. The 'molar' is a large, white-capped rock twenty-four feet high with Indian petroglyphs around its base sitting high on a bench in the Pahrock range of southern Nevada. Below, more modern travelers left their trail through the sage. A water hole and corral mark a resting place in the desert.
