About Mark Andrews Photography
Mark Andrews is well known regionally for his interpretive and well crafted photographs of the landscape in the southwestern United States. He works chiefly with a 4x5 wooden field camera and creates his own edition prints in gicle’.
As an original pioneer of the gicle’ process for photographs in 1989, he has been able to explore many combinations of inks, dyes and substrates to produce his final prints. Mark was invited to be the first artist to have works rendered on the Roland wide-format canvas printer debuted at ArtExpo in New York City in 1997.
During recent years, Mark has been invited to be a guest instructor at numerous workshops and educational settings. His prints have been collected nationwide for private and corporate collections and he remains active in creating and presenting art edition prints and commercial and documentary videography.
